Debra H. Rogers is an experienced senior leader within HMS-affiliated medical centers and has deep knowledge of physician practice management and service improvement, research and education programs, as well as major hospital initiatives.  Ms. Rogers has a strong background in finance, combined with a proven performance in faculty development, clinical research, operations management and patient access/ service improvement.

Prior to her arrival at SERI/MEE, she served as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Department of Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), where she transformed the administrative leadership team, increased surgical volume and margin, completed meaningful use rollout, expanded programs and partnerships across the network, and implemented multiple programs to improve patient access in the department. 

Ms. Rogers has served as Executive Director of the Shapiro Cardiovascular Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), where she led the team that launched the new center and in a short time, built and grew sustainable volume; developed new programs; and successfully integrated patient care across the BWH Campus. Before her work with the Shapiro Center, she served as Director Clinical Services and Director of Finance for Surgery at BWH. She has also served in administrative roles at Lahey Clinic Community Group Practices and Hallmark Healthcare System.
